Russian Private Visa

Do you have any friends, relatives, boyfriend or fiancé who lives in Russia that you might want to visit and have a tour around Russia? I have plan to visit my boyfriend in Russia, visit some places there and spend time with him.
Whatever the reason why you want to visit Russia you need to address all the requirements needed to get russian visa. Requirements depend on what kind of visa you are applying for. In my opinion Russian Private Visa is the best because you can stay longer and enjoy the beauty of Russia.

Private (Guest) VISA

Russian private visa is issued to foreigners who wish to enter Russia temporarily for a period up to 3 months (90 days) to visit their friends or relatives. Private visa can be single or double entry.

You need the following documents:

  • Visa Application form – you may fill up the form on this site. once filling up is completed you may submit and print it.
  • An official letter of invitation (Original) issued by the Russian Federal Migration Service or its local offices. Copies of invitations for private visa are not accepted (see video below on how to get invitation letter).
  • Copy of your friend/ relatives Passport with updated ( latest ) registered address .
  • Passport ID – valid for 6 months with at least 1 blank page.
  • Valid police clearance.
  • Valid NBI clearance.
  • Passport size ID picture – with white background and not glossy.
  • HIV test Certificate with negative result .

When you completed all those documents you may now go to The Russian Embassy to submit it.

Their office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Visa payment and release depend on how soon you need it. My Visa is on regular process which takes 10 working days or almost 3 weeks then I pay Php. 6050.
The consul gave me a receipt and I pay it on the bank account that is given to me which is United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) and fill up the deposit slip and present it together with the embassy receipt for the bank stamp and when the payment has been done you should go back to embassy and give the bank’s official receipt and the consul will stamp the receipt that he give to you. Then you will be asked to go back on the date stated on your receipt for the release of your visa if it’s a regular process.
